The Immortals, written by Alyson Noel, is the 3 part series of the tales of Ever and Damon, two people destined to be together. Ever was in a car crash with her family, and she was the only one to survive. Yet that was no coincidence. Damon, an immortal living forever, saved her. She is his true love from centuries before, but kept getting killed by Drina, who is in love with Damon. Also, Roman, another immortal turned by Damon, is in love with Drina, and wants to kill Damon for her. Together, Ever and Damon must fight the power of the evil ones, and for their destiny to be together, forever. This book is suspenseful, exciting, and romantic. It pulls the reader into this other world, and really captivates the essence of each character. The writing is beautiful, as is the story.
